How can I be logged in on Oppositelock but on Jalopnik I am not? And when I try to log in on Jalopnik through FB it never works

I had a similar problem and it ended up being a cookie issue.  Kinja help was weirdly helpful.

The answer in the past has been to make sure you allow third-party cookies. oppositelock.kinja.com and kinja.com are the same doman so it works. j alopnik.com and kinja.com are not the same domain, so it can’t use the kinja cookie unless third-party cookies are enabled.
